Sails … awaY!

Miami boat show a few years back.  Amazing boats.  Amazing show.  Made me want a boat.  This view especially:

Then again I got nautious on a deep sea fishing trip.  And also on the dive boat.  I’ll stick to the pic, and solid ground  🙂

Spotted!: …in a river bed?

This was another adventure with my brother that literally took a wrong turn towards a mis-adventure…

Doing some innocent nighttime 4wheeling in the woods.. and made a wrong turn.  This picture was taken around 8am, when delirium had set in.  Did I mention it was the coldest night in FL (really, record lows), and I woke to ice on the ground.  *Note to self: keep tissues and/or toilet paper in the car.  (I’ve made a diagram to label some areas of interest):

Survivor!  (thank god for the Krispy Kreme donuts… impulse buy actually payed off!)

Graffiti

graffiti….  I’m pretty sure this was the “legal” kind, which is fine by me.  This was in Orlando a few years ago, I’m not sure if they are still there, but that’s why I got pics 🙂

Inspiration : Gil Bruvel

This artist has amazing works that encompass imagination, whimsy, creativity, detail, beauty….  I could look at his work all day long and himmm and haww over it.  Definitely one of my favorite artists who inspires:

Spotted!: Blue Spring kaya-kin’

Went out on the river w/ my brother and some kayaks – it was super cool to be so intimate w/ nature… very close to the water..  I did almost get mauled by a gator that was cruising by.  That part was quite frightening!!  We did however also get to be in the middle of a patch of Manatees (where the river meets the spring), and that was rather scary too; they would come up for air, and there was a possibility that one tip you over.  It kind of reminded me of some kind of Universal Studios water ride – only much, much more real (“real” can be more scary, but thousands times more exhilarating).  Survivor – YEA!

Inspiration : Buddha Bar

From a Buddha Bar video on YouTube (click on it to go there and hear it).

Inspiration : Philip Lumbang

An artist who recently inspired me (aside from the ones I saw the documentaries on) is Phil Lumbang in LA.  These are a few pieces of his; first saw his little bear artwork in SF a few yrs ago (@ Giant Robot -which has since been closed.. booo!).

His lil bears are simply the cutest I’ve seen, and his message  comes through in his art 🙂

Flowers

Here are some flowers I’ve gathered for my photographic vase…
they have come from all over 🙂

Cats!: ‘Ney ‘Ney

This is another one of the outdoor kitties de mi hermano.  She’s a brave lil thing (our parents have her brother and sister) – she is also the one that recently fell through the screen and into the pool…
