Always Follow the Truth

“For though we love both the truth and our friends, piety requires us to honor the truth first.”
~Aristotle

Duck!– it’s an orchid :)

Stopped by my parent’s house as the sun was beginning to set, I saw the purple orchid from a year prior who was in full bloom once again!  Gorgeous, and it led to this fast phone photo shoot of her and a few neighboring naturals  (the tree was the tree we climbed in our childhood, many fond memories w/ it).

Sunset’n

Taken with my camera phone, quality may run a tad low – I have others on the camera..  will get to those, but for now, enjoy : )

Hotel Côstes, Parisian style

Feeling quite musical lately – current album: hôtel costes 15, a great compilation.
The song below is among the diverse array of tunes included on the album (there is another called Mister Chicken by Deluxe – super funny, I recommend taking a listen, it’s on Youtube!).
Enjoy

Morcheeba.

Generosity

Generosity is the most natural outward expression of an inner attitude of compassion and loving-kindness. When one desires to alleviate the suffering of others and to promote their well-being, then generosity – in action, word, and thought – is this desire put into practice. It is important to recognize the “generosity” here refers not just to giving in a material sense, but to generosity of the heart.

Amazingly Beautiful!

Many thanks to my mom for sharing this with me – she received it from a relative overseas 🙂

Like Tom Petty

The reservation has been made and I will be free-falling soon.
Am I nervous?  uh, yea!

A friend of mine does this as a hobby nearly every weekend (perhaps he’s an adrenaline junkie?  lol) – when you can go with someone you trust, then why not bring a friend as well?  Kristin and I will be diving the friendly Florida skies in a little more than two weeks with Jairo..  and I still have to decide on what to wear! What goes well with ‘guy in the sky?’  helmet and straps for starters… Yipe.
