Today is Pepero Day in South Korea! Pepero (or the Japanese version, Pocky) sticks are yummy little cookie sticks that are either filled w/ chocolate, dipped in chocolate, plain, almond or peanut coated… Heck, they even make a Hello Kitty Pepero stick now! They’re delicious and fun to eat (and to share!). 11.11 has been designated as “Pepero Day” as the 11’s resemble the candy themselves – and moreover the numbers represent a couple: 1+1 = 2.
